Why test your nutrients?
With the exception of Vitamin D (the sunshine vitamin), micronutrients are not produced by the body. The best way to achieve a healthy balance of these vitamins and minerals is from a nutrient-rich diet.
If you are following a restricted diet, such as a vegan or vegetarian diet, if you are pregnant, or if you have recently modified your diet, regular testing ensures you are meeting your daily requirements to maintain your overall health and well-being.
Americans spend more than $30 billion a year on supplements*
Many of which are unnecessary or are of little to no benefit.
Supplements are not intended to replace a healthy diet, and can't make up for a lack of nutrient-rich foods. You may also be using the wrong type for your body, leading to unnecessary and even excess levels of vitamins and minerals, which can cause symptoms like headaches and stomach pains. To ensure you're benefiting the most from your diet and supplement routine, start with personalized insights into your nutrient levels to give you the best start on your journey to better health.
