Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps to absorb the minerals calcium and phosphorous, playing a vital role in forming and maintaining strong bones and teeth, regulating normal immune system function, maintaining heart and lung health and combating depression.
Vitamin B12 is one of the eight B vitamins. It is a water-soluble vitamin. Vitamin B12 is responsible for neurological function, producing DNA, maintaining a healthy nervous system and generating red blood cells which carry oxygen around the body. It is an essential nutrient in pregnancy.
You should monitor your vitamin levels as deficiencies may rule out underlying health conditions or explain symptoms such as exhaustion, brain fog, and nutritional issues.
