If you're sexually active or have been in the past, it's important to get tested. Some STIs are symptomless, so the only way to detect them is with a test. The earlier you do this, the easier it will be to treat you and your partner. In more serious cases like HIV, early treatment will avoid long term consequences and increase life expectancy.

  • What does it test for?

    • Chlamydia
    • Gonorrhoea
    • HIV I, II, P24 antigen
    • Syphilis
    • Trichomonas
  • Who should get tested?

Any sexually active male or female.

  • When to test?

You should wait a minimum of 30 days from the time of sexual contact before getting tested. Sexually transmitted infections can take a period of time to become detectable, and you should wait to ensure accurate results. If you are sexually active, regular testing is advised.

Our HIV test includes HIV I, II and P24 antigen, which provides for a shorter window period of 28 days
