Yes, this test is suitable for people with diabetes. Our HbA1c test provides a picture of your average glucose levels over the past 2-3 months and can help you monitor your target levels over time. This test is a perfect pairing with your daily blood sugar testing to provide a complete picture of your blood sugar control and help you maintain your individual HbA1c goal. People with diabetes are at an increased risk of hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) which has no symptoms, so this test also helps you to keep track of your cholesterol levels and heart health.
This test is not a replacement for regular blood sugar testing at home so it's important to continue testing as advised by your healthcare provider.
This test checks for two of the most common diseases in America. 1 in 3 Americans have prediabetes and heart disease is the number one cause of death.
The same lifestyle factors can lead to both of these conditions. Heart disease and type 2 diabetes are preventable in many cases. This test can help identify if you could be at risk for these conditions, even if you don't have any symptoms.
If you have a diagnosis of either diabetes or high cholesterol, then this test can help you monitor your condition and screen for additional risk. Knowing your levels enables you to take control and ensure your conditions are being managed effectively.
Due to state regulations, we cannot provide medication in every State.
